The Government may want to rush through this alcohol bill, but with cross party opposition to aspects of the bill relating to nightclubs, and indeed far more sensible cross party suggestions being put forward, it is clear that there are some very significant flaws in the bill - meaning that the Government must hold on and take time to consider what they must do. Rushing it through before The Dáil's summer break is simply the wrong decision for them to make.
